Transit Hotel!?

Lived in the Fort Road area of Edmonton for over 60 years. Today for the first time in my life I visited  the historic Transit Hotel built in 1908. Lots of history here, an Ambrotype possibly?

Note* Love the goat/pig/cattle and horse and carriage historical photos.
